Hi, Chatties!! Now more than 8 months after our wedding, I can report that Mr. BostonBride and I have comfortably settled in to life as a married couple and we are loving every minute of it. I honestly can't believe we're just a few months away from our 1st *Married* Anniversary!

My In Laws made a trip down to visit us in DC recently and brought along great memories from our wedding day in the form of our finished painting from Gail Fitzpatrick. We were SO excited to see the final product and it did not dissapoint!

Below is a photo taken of our finished painting. We had smaller prints made for family & my bridesmaids, and everyone has had so much fun looking through the painting to see who they recognize and how different guests are captured. We can't wait to display this priceless painting in our home as a reminder of our magical wedding night.

As I was planning the decor for our wedding, I couldn't find many of the special items that I envisioned. I wanted each detail to be customized for our event, so (as you Chatties know!) I ended up taking on quite a few projects myself.

After our big day was over, I had so many requests for help and questions from other brides about many of the projects I completed. At the encouragement of many other brides I assisted, I opened Bella Bride Designs on Etsy.com.

I love that this new endeavor has allowed me to continue working with weddings and it has definitely helped wtih my "wedding withdrawal" :) Check out the shop and pass the link along to any other brides who may be interested. Our reception took place in the Oval Room at Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, which is joined to the Venetian Room where we had our Cocktail Hour. The second we walked into this room while visiting venues, we fell in love with it's classic glamour and knew it was the perfect place for our party.

Our guests settled in to Cocktail Hour in the Venetian Room at Fairmont Copley as we finished up our photos.

After leaving the church, our Bridal Party headed out into Copley Square for a fun photo shoot. Our first idea was to try and replicate the Beatles Photo of them walking accross the street. Our Best Man is a cop, so we had him out trying to stop traffic as we made our way accross Boylston Street. Needless to say, we were not sucessful... But we did end up with great photos from our attempt and we had a blast!!

Old South Church was a logical choice for our Ceremony Venue as it's right across Copley Square from Fairmont Copley Plaza. We love the amazing stained glass & gothic architecture as well as the history associated with the church - Sam Adams & Mother Goose were both members!
