OK. So you've picked the location. You've chosen the decor. You've written your vows. RSVP's are back and accounted for. Final count has been submitted. You're timeline is timed out perfectly. The only "if" that remains, is IT. The WEATHER.

So what are you going to do? Everyone will tell you " There's only one thing you can't control about your wedding, and it's the weather". Geez, thanks Aunt Margot. Yes, rain on your wedding day might be lucky (or is that just what they tell you to make you feel better?), and yes, it's a beautiful Italian phrase, Sposa Bagnata, Sposa Fortunata ( A Wet Bride is a Lucky Bride), but when it comes down to it, sometimes you've just got to face the music.

There are apps for your iphone, emails and texts you can get from the weather channel, all just to keep you up to date with any change in the chance of precipitation. Is all that stress worth it in the end?
As long as you have a plan B, know who is in charge of making that call to move inside for an outdoor ceremony, order the tent ahead of time, or bring the cute galloshas, you'll be fine.
Have some cute umbrellas on hand so you can take adorable rain photos! And maybe even do a sunny bridal session after the big day to get any photos you might have missed.
Aunt Margot is right, you can't control the weather. But you can control your attitude about it. Embrace the rain if it's inevitable, and you can be a Sposa Fortunata with me!

And who knows, where there is rain, there is often a Rainbow. Now wouldn't that be a storybook ending?
